C.H. Sushil Rao is currently Editor, Special Reports, for The Times of India, Hyderabad. A journalist by choice, he has been in the field for the last 30 years and also worked for the Deccan Chronicle two spells earlier. He has a gold medal in Journalism from the Department of Communication and Journalism, Arts College, Osmania University, Hyderabad. In his current position with The Times of India, he covers politics, including the Chief Minister's Office (CMO), the Telengana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) party and other political parties, government administration, defence, science, the film industry, and Non-Resident Indian issues.

In addition to his professional work, he has always involved himself in ministry in different ways, but what he loves to do most is share the good news about salvation with people on the streets and show the love of the Lord to the poor and needy. By the Lord's grace and leading, he has penned more than 50 songs in Telugu, which are sung across the Telugu states to praise the name of the Lord. Sushil Rao is also a novelist, having written six novels based on the Bible.
