Mobis Philipose leads the Mark to Market team at Mint newspaper, which brings out daily news analysis columns on the financial markets. He also writes columns on securities market structure, regulation, and corporate governance. For the past 20 years, he has written about markets and stocks for publications such as Business Standard, Financial Express, and Business World. He and his family fellowship at a Gateway Ministries-affiliated church in Mumbai, where he serves as an elder. He is also part of the editorial team for GMI’s Momentum magazine. Mobis has an MBA in Finance from Bharti Vidyapeeth University, Pune. He has won the “Young Journalist” award instituted by Business Standard and was also part of a high-level committee on insider trading, constituted by the Securities Exchange Board of India.
