As Chairman and Managing Director of the Tamil Nadu Urban Finance and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (TUFIDCO), he has served in the Tamil Nadu Cadre of the Indian Administrative Service for the last three decades. With a mission to help people and do it right, he has won numerous awards, the most notable of which is the 600-crore World Bank-backed Tamil Nadu Health Systems Initiative. His passion to impact lives extends beyond the boundaries of work, as he, along with his wife, Shanti Davidar, a psychiatrist, have been a source of strength and counsel to many youngsters and families.
